How these figures were worked out

These results are a historical replay. They come from running the Shortlist rules back over January 2024 to August 2026, at Betfair starting price, with 2% commission taken off every winning bet. They are not tips I was emailing at the time. Over that period the replay made +162.16 points. The live record starts with the first members, and it will go up here next to these figures, month by month.

The worst dip from a high point to a low one was 26.8 points, between March and August 2024, and it was back above the old high by the end of February 2025. In 2025 the worst dip was 15.0 points, and so far in 2026 it has been 9.4.

Most win bets are 1 point. Comeback bets are half a point, and place bets are a quarter or half a point. Every bet in the spreadsheet shows its stake. A win and a place bet on the same horse count as two bets, and a place bet counts as won when the horse is placed. Twelve days at the end of July 2026 are missing from the archive, and those days are left blank rather than counted as no bets.
